COVID-19 UPDATE

BHF Couriers current Delivery Procedures:

1.  DRIVERS WILL Knock on the door as usual and step back two metres (or as far back as safe)

2. They will wait for the occupant to come to the door and greet them as usual

3. If collection please leave item on the ground or table for the driver to collect

4. If delivery will then ask for the recipient's name, sign the scanner with ‘ATL’ and leave the parcel in a sensible place for the customer to pick up once they leave

5. IF FORK LIFT REQUIRED DRIVERS WILL NOT EXIT VEHICLE the scanner will be marked with ATL

4. If no one comes to the door and the franchisee considers the location a safe drop, the standard ATL process will be followed

5. If no one comes to the door and the franchisee does not consider the location a safe drop, they will follow the standard failed delivery card process.

ALL DRIVERS ARE TAKING APPROPRIATE MEASURES TO PROTECT THEM SELF AS WELL AS OUR CUSTOMERS BY FOLLOWING THE RECOMMENDED HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES WE ARE ADVISING ALL DRIVERS TO WASH HANDS FREQUENTLY AND TO STAY HOME WHEN SICK.

For Sending Packages, delivery times are as follows.......

Same Day service = either same day or following day depending on time of booking

Overnight = 1 to 2 working days

Road express = 2-5 working days

Road express remote area = 2-7 days 

Road express unpackaged = could take up to 21 days 

If the item is unpackaged and you need it quickly, please let us know and we can work out correct packaging, and organise that for you to speed things up.
