When sending something valuable or of extreme importance, it may be wise to choose a pricier option with time guarantees and 24/7 tracking availability. Compare options amongst the different carriers that you are approaching and weigh up service vs cost. You may not always be comparing apples against apples, so it’s best to look at the overall quote and compare the service provided, security of goods, time frame and flexibility.

Know the flexibility of the courier- Know what you are getting for the price you are receiving. Like our website, many couriers start by giving you a base price, then give you some extra options to add onto your booking if you desire. Not all courier companies will be flexible with time frames and phone calls before collection/delivery. It is best that you ask questions surrounding these options as most couriers do not include them in their initial quote, but some may be happy to upgrade your service and quote options to include your requirements.

Know the tracking ability of the company- At BHF, most of the online bookings placed can be tracked online. You will need a trackable consignment number to do so.
